And then there was one…

If you went to one this year, you know what a fun time it is.

If you didn’t, you still have a chance.

We’re talking about the Famous Nyack Street Fair – and

the last edition of 2015 is set for Sunday, Oct. 12.

We, as you know, participate in each and every street fair.

We offer special promotions both inside and out, setting

up shop outside our side-by-side storefronts, as well.

It’s the chance to see all that’s new, snag some great deals

and simply visit, eat, shop, listen to music and have fun.

What’s not to love?

The Famous Nyack Street Fair will run, as always, from 10

a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine.

We promise this one will close out the season in fine style.

See you there!

Drawing your own serenity

Remember those days when your only care was having
enough time to play before dinner?

Well, we can’t return you to that innocent era, but we can

help you perhaps re-create the feeling of those carefree

days.

By now, we’re sure you’ve heard of the “adult coloring-book craze.”
It’s being touted as a sure way to serenity.
Basically, you take up the colors and simply lose yourself in a picture. Concentrating on the design, choosing your

color scheme… you are in complete control. That’s right –

you don’t have to answer to anyone. It’s a complete break

from work assignments, errands, laundry and other

chores.

Sounds like a pretty pleasant escape, no?
To date, more than a million people have purchased the

coloring books by Johanna Basford, credited with starting

the trend.

We’ve got her titles in stock – and just a quick glance

shows you you’re going to see these are not designed for

your average tot.

No, these are sophisticated and intricate designs that will
keep you – and your mind – occupied for as long as you’re

willing.

New designs, such as an oversize book devoted to

cityscapes, have also arrived.
Come by and see what all the fuss is about.
And let us know if you’d be interested in a workshop

devoted to these books.

We think it would be fun to color, de-stress and share time

together, don’t you?
