SOUNDS OF SUMMER

What's more fun than a relaxing weeknight spent catching up with friends and family, listening to music and gazing out over the Hudson River? The 22nd season of Mostly Music, presented by Friends of the Nyacks and sponsored by Maria Luisa Boutique and Eyevolution Optique, kicks off in grand style at 6 p.m. June 26 with "Youthfest." Stop by to hear Danna Banana, pianist Albert Alhf and Midnight Brigade. The series continues at 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday through Aug. 14. (We're especially looking forward to the patriotic program to be presented by the Orangetown Concert Band on July 3). If you're planning to picnic, swing by ML Gifts & Accessories on the way to pick up some fun accessories. Options range from mix-and-match cutlery to bamboo-fiber tumblers, bottle openers to snazzy outdoor carpets (use one at the park, then roll it up and take it home!) The park is at the corner of Depew and Piermont avenues.
And don't forget that the "Music in the Garden" series at the Edward Hopper House Art Center kicks off next month. Full details in our next newsletter.
